Integration of Colour with Reflexology

This three-weekend course is designed for qualified reflexologists wishing to integrate colour with reflexology.  It will take a brief look at the history of colour therapy; how colour and light are being utilized by both conventional and complementary medicine and clarification on the important role light plays in our well-being. The aura with its major and minor chakras will be discussed and the importance of locating and treating these on either the feet or hands.  Participants will learn about the twelve tertiary colour wheel used in therapy, how to sensitise themselves to the vibrational frequencies of colour and the impact of colour upon our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.  During the six days, instruction on how to make and interpret the spinal diagnostic chart will be given.

The course will continue by exploring the general colours afforded to the physical body; colours used for specific diseases plus information on how to work with the ‘overall colour’, the colour that helps a client to find and work with the cause of the physically manifested disease. Participants will learn how and when to apply colour to the reflexes and how to use colour for self help

The final part of the course will be devoted to exploring the meridians and ways of treating these with colour through the hands and the feet.  Included will be information on the Chinese colour system and its relationship to the elements and platonic solids.  On the final day, participants will give and receive a colour/reflexology treatment formulating this on the skills learnt during the course.

Qualified reflexologists wishing to integrate colour with reflexology are requested to attend all six days of this workshop but the first weekend is open to anyone wishing to know more about the vibrational energies of colour and the important role that light plays in maintaining health.
