Modern remedial massage involves more than just the good application of basic massage techniques. This workshop will look at some of the more advanced soft tissue techniques we can use to radically enhance our clinical work. We will look at Muscle Energy Techniques, Neuromuscular Techniques and Soft Tissue Release, and show how these can be applied to common musculoskeletal issues.

Mel Cash has been a working massage therapist since 1985 and is regarded as one of the pioneers in the modern development of Sport & Remedial massage. He is a founder and principal tutor of the London School of Sports Massage, visiting lecturer at Westminster University and director of the Institute of Sport & Remedial Massage. He is also a leading author on the subject and conducts workshops in the UK and overseas.
