Reflexology

Jan Williamson

Precision Reflexology

Precision reflexology offers a way to connect to the subtle energy of the client. The technique used is called “linking”, this connects to two, sometimes more, specific points on the feet (and hands) in order to establish a sense of equilibrium and balance. The contact is very light because the strength of the treatment lies in the energy and not in the physical pressure used. This intuitive style gives added insight into the holistic approach of reflexology, it gives power and precision to the therapy and it is a way of responding to the unique nature of each client. It can easily be adapted to all forms of reflexology and has been used extensively to develop skills for practitioners who wish to be integrated health care professionals. In turn, these skills can be passed on to clients in order to increase their confidence and awareness concerning health issues.

The post-graduate course involves four contact tuition days. The initial two days are an introduction then there is an interval in which to commence case study work, followed by two further days to complete the course.

Content of the course:-

  • Rationale for Precision Reflexology
  • Location of “linking” reflexes
  • Exploration and discussion of the concept of energy in relation to reflexology
  • Practical sessions

N.B. This course is eligible for  the Association of Reflexologists’ Continued Professional Development scheme.
