Reflexology in Cancer Care
Many Reflexologists have concerns and fears regarding working with people on the cancer journey and wonder how reflexology can help. This workshop focuses on addressing some of the myths, fears and issues of using reflexology with people with cancer and explores ways in which to work safely and potently with all patients. There is a focus on being able to adapt treatments to work with patients having chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery, and those with palliative care needs and at the end of life. There will also be a practical session exploring light touch reflexology.
Edwina Hodkinson has worked with people with cancer for the past 26 years. First as a nurse, and then as a complementary practitioner.
